Meet the Founder
Hi! I'm Morgan, the founder of Encompass HR. I've been working in the field of HR since 2015, and my passion lies in helping founders and small businesses overcome the HR and compliance challenges they face while growing their companies.
I've had the opportunity to work with numerous start-ups across various industries, including construction, tech, climate tech, and restaurants. Through my experience, I've gained valuable insights into the nuances of each industry and the specific HR needs of start-ups. From building out HR infrastructure to navigating HR tech, laws, and regulations, I understand the complexities involved in managing the employment process.
I hold a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and have earned certifications as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). These certifications reflect my commitment to staying updated with the latest HR trends and best practices, ensuring that I can provide you with the highest level of expertise and guidance.
The idea for Encompass HR was born out of the realization that managing HR tasks such as payroll systems, manuals, pay scales, compliance, and more can be overwhelming for founders and small business owners. I knew there had to be a better way, a solution that would remove the stress and complexity from the employment process.
